Food tastes worse than i think. Prices are also high. On 07th Oct 2026 some inspection officers caught red handed for selling food on higher prices. Can you believe I ordered Anda rice from some catering staff. He is saying it's 140 rs. i said ok give me but the officers told me it's original cost is 90 rs only.

I'm in the upper berth.. and it's full of cockroaches. The toilet is not clean,even tho I have booked in AC2 it feels like I'm using general boggie toilets. And a highly frustrating and uncomfortable issue during my train journey on the Sikkim Mahananda Express (15484). Every single time the train started moving or came to a halt, there was a severe, violent jerk (slack action).The jolts are so sudden that they can easily cause someone to lose their balance, spill hot beverages, or get woken up abruptly from sleep. While I understand that modern Centre Buffer Coupler (CBC) systems have a bit of physical play between coaches, the execution by the loco pilots needs to be much smoother.
Frequent, aggressive acceleration and braking make the journey highly uncomfortable, especially for elderly passengers and children. The railway management needs to look into better driver training or mechanical adjustments to eliminate this annoying "jhatka" problem.

the train is note clean and pentry car worker overacting for food and also ticket collector is also not work I feel like I going in general coach ever I buy sleeper tickets so in future I cannot travel with sleeper or I aslo don't use confirm ticket for ticket booking

The service of this train is very good but there are some shortcomings which should be improved like there is a lot of theft in this train, for this RPF escort should be given at night and for the cleanliness of this train the cleaning staff should be given help who should pay special attention to the cleanliness of the train coaches and toilets, otherwise this train is very good for your journey

mahananda express is one of the worst train. I was travelling through 1st AC but the toilets seems to be like General Class(2S) and the inside cabins were also dirty. In terms of punctuality it was running 2hrs late.

The food which you are providing for lunch and dinner is not good in taste at all. you should keep slow down the AC speed as there are few passengers who cannot resist the AC high temperature like Kids and elderly people.

The train service was very bad, rats were roaming in many coaches, even once in 15 hours of journey, the sweeper did not come to clean the coach, on complaining toilet was cleaned but it was done only with excuses, overall Travel in this train only if a mad dog bites.

Does anything happen by putting a photo, I don't have a photo, I have taken photos of many things many times, yet nothing happened
Ex-I complained with the photo of the returning room in Banaras, there was no hearing.

Once again a worst experience with Indian Railways .. Train Was almost late about 15 hrs before reaching my destination.. Cleaness and hygienic food Was at its worst form... I know after give suggestions also no action or corrective measures will be taken in this regard so from next time please don't waste my time asking rating or suggestions..

Hi ,
I have booked tickets for my family from GHAZIABAD to ALIPUR DUAR JN.
Train: 15484 (MAHANANDA EXP)
This train running 12 hours late. Because of this late we are very irritated and our plans got re-scheduled.
we have our baby who is 4 years old travelling in same train. we are deeply upset with the service Indian railway given to us.

tc is most courrupt
sleeper class became general .....
none of the rpf seen..... in whole journey....
tc taken illegally money and free everyone to do atikarman on passenger seats who have already tickets i faced to much problems??????
