train compartments modern but it gives lots of jerks while starting , increasing speed ,etc . Moreover, you get crammed especially in side berths.
There was no attendant in AC compartments and we were literally shivering after midnight despite wearing blankets. No use going by this train as it will never be on scheduled time untill dual tracks are laid down on the full way.
As regards food, very sad that despite more than almost 30 yrs in operation, there is no pantry car.

ordered food in train using confirm it app.
The order was placed well before the stipulated time. It was accepted and was made as well (as per the app). But we didn't receive any order. The most frustrating part of this ordeal is that I was not able to reach out to representative from either side, i.e the hotel - parmar caterers, confirm it app and zoop.
I was left strangled with my friends for the whole night as we did not had any dinner. We were on a vacation and this was a very poor experience for us.
I've got to credit you for the most pathetic logistics and customer care in this stream of job.
Moreover the app does not even allow us to connect with the hotel directly which is a very fundamental feature and the helpline number was least helpful.
I was left hanging, chatting with a bot, which for the record was as incompetent as yourself. I received the very opposite response from the bot against my query.

Nice train journey special in Konkan route train was also clean and well maintain the average speed of train was 90 km/h this train is best for those who want to visit Dharmasthala and Kukke Subramanya

During monsoon water enter the coaches, also the windows shuttering are poor level that is presently shuttering downward. This capability of windows shuttering needs to be improved by the sliding system.

how is a lady supposed to climb this and y is it that every time I book multiple tickets still I get the first or the last from the door plus this time there was no food supply from pantry or vendors

Till Mangoan it was late about 20 minutes it's okk but after mangoan the train was stopped at all station for crossing and we reaches at Ratnagiri at 12.03.
Train was late by Two hours i will suggest not to book ticket in this.
Money you take for Express and service you give for public of local train which was stopped at every station.

housekeeping is very bad... no proper sanitary kits are provided. very poor quality liquid soaps with full of water added in it...As compared to mangalore express, there is no comparison, mangalore express has a much better standard. Even the ground staff is very lethargic.. they are inactive.. In overall very bad experience

Was traveling in B3 compartment seat no 14. No proper supply of food and water inside the train. person has to strave and remain thristy if one is not carrying own food and water. No cleaners during the entire journey. worst travelling experience of my life.

Absence of Western type toilets due to the coaches being of the last decade.The flushing mechanism in the toilets spray water all over the toilet space due to faulty alignment. The coach attendant was constantly chatting in a loud voice with other colleagues for most part of the night resulting in disturbed sleep for the passengers. The train was running late throughout the journey and reached my destination - Udupi- an hour late from the scheduled time of 7.50 am.

tea, coffee services were good however biotoilet is not maintained properly the steel round is not brushed and cleaned and it was smelling badly. the staff cleaning were not interested in working and was cleaning irresponsibly and running

Overall good service. Love to travel on Konkan Railway. Most convenient train service. Unfortunately Matsyagandha Express is always pre-booked months in advance and getting confirmed lower berth for me at age 65 years with heart problems and diabetes is very,very difficult.

The worst train.they charge super fast charge,but it never runs on schedule.2 to 3 hours late running is common.I is all because there is a single railway track for up& down trains.before going for bullet train govt should convert all single tracks to double tracks.so that all the trains can run as per schedule,thereby saving thousands of man hour daily.as for cleanines & condition of compartments is concerned less said better.they are all shabby,many times there is no water in toilets.which are as such dirty.there is no pentry outside food is supplied in train which becomes cold by the time it is served to passengers. over all one travels in this train as there is no other option for reaching some of railway stations on this route.
